Hi,i need somebodys expert opinion on 2 LCD'S.I am currently looking to buy a new LCD tv but im torn between two choices,the Panasonic 37" TX-37LZD800 or the Sony 40" KDL-40w4500.Both have had good reviews by your magazine & i can't decide which one to take the plunge on.Would much appreciate someone's expert guidance.I will be mainly using it with the PS3 to play games,watch Blu-Ray etc.Sound quality of the set is not that important as i will be using a digital amp.

Hi Popkorn,

I'm also looking for a new LCD tv and am considering both the models that you suggest. However Sony are replacing the 4500 series with the 5500 very soon, the model that interests me is the 37" version KDL37W5500, the review of this series should be on here in about a week.
