What Samsung 3d tv to buy?!?!

Hi All

I'm about to take the plunge into the world of 3d but am undecided on what one to buy. I have about £1000 to play with and would like a screen no smaller than 46". So far I am in a toss up between the Samsung PS51D550 or the Samsung PS50C680 there is about a £200 difference but I can find no reviews on the PS51? Help me please!

I'd suppress the buy impulse and hang on for reviews of the PS51D550. As always, an audition of both TVs would be sensible.

It's more money, but you might want to throw the Panasonic TXP-42GT30 into the mix as well, if your budget can stretch that far and the smaller screen size is acceptable...

Hi,

The C680 is a now end of line model but perfectly respectable for getting into 3D in an affordable way, I would also advise to take a look at the Samsung PS51D6900 which is going to come in around the £900-£1100 mark but is a far superior set with Freesat HD & Freeview HD tuners, Smart Hub + Web Browser, PVR Recrding Function via USB, also Super Slim set perfect for wall mounting, it is also a Newly Launceh set and maybe worth holding fire for a couple of weeks when Samsung may do some 3D offers, ie possibly FOC 3D BluRay Player.
