Question What piece of equipment has stayed longest in your system

Following on from the 'Future Classics' thread what item of equipment have you kept in your system the longest?
If I recall correctly mine were, of equal time, a pair of Heybrook HB1 speakers and a Pioneer A400 amplifier, so I am counting them as one.

For me it's the Pro Jet Essential II turntable. I don't own much vinyl as I'm much more more of a CD person so I've seen no reason to upgrade it. I probably wont upgrade it unless it brakes.

My Marantz CD 50SE has been with me since the late 80’s, my wife bought for me as a Christmas present, 1988 I believe but I may be wrong. Having just got it down from the loft after putting it into storage I was surprised it still worked. I was even more surprised that the advice on here was not to upgrade it but keep it. Which I am going to do.

The Harman Kardon 3270 RDS amp, it is a great plug & play hub. Maybe I will look for a more modern amp with integration of services like spotify in the future. But as services might not last for decades I probably stick with this one.
