I have the upgraded BOSE system/speakers in my Mazda 3 Takumi. The upgrade which comes with that model of trim as standard.

The sound is good, but not mindblowingly so.

Mine came integrated with the Ford, I rarely listen to music in my car and I hate listening to mainstream news via the DAB.
So many cr'tins on talk shows masquerading as journalists.

I use to be into car audio systems back in the day when I wanted to spread my DNA.
It is just my opinion, audio in cars are specifically tailored to sound bassy with distortion levels to scramble your brain. 🙂

Our Ford has the factory fitted Ford badged stuff which is pants. I don't know who specs audio for cars and whether they actually bother to listen to them. The high end distortion is painful.

The older (and lesser) model of same car we had, had a Sony system which was much better but it did not have all the gizmos (touch screens and the like) that they insist we need.

Probably 99% of new car buyers couldn't care less about the sound system, so long as it makes a noise.
I heard a Tesla sound system once, and quite frankly the standard sound system blew most other manufactures systems out of the water. (Can't remember how many speakers and amps it had, but is was a lot)

Pioneer head unit. A mix of vibe and pioneer speakers, vibe amp and a couple of amps. Oh and a fold down TV/dvd.

Well it is a small van/camper and daily.
