What hi-fi Debut 3 upgrade or Genie 3 with 2m red

Hi All

I want to eitheir upgrade my debut 3 to a om10 and arcylic platter which would cost around £140 or should I just get a Genie 3 with a 2m red for £200 or Debut 3 SE £250. Or would I be better of upgrading the styli alone.

I would like to upgrade today as only day off from work for a week.

I have a debut 3 in a second system and upgraded the OM5 to an OM10 when the stylus had worn out. Solid upgrade but nothing amazing. I haven't heard the Genie or the 2M red but I think the 2M blue is a cracking cartridge. For the cost difference I would go for the Genie/2M red, the debut can only be taken so far, but you can further upgrade the genie it you want at a later date.

in my opinion the debut se3 is the better deck, better cartridge, frank harvey hi fi were selling it for 225, add a speedbox and acrylic platter at a later date
