What blu ray players with analogue outs make reasonable CD players (if any)

I am considering looking for a Blu Ray player to replace both my PS3 and my Marantz DV7001. My wife and I listen to a lot of CDs and watch a lot of DVDs.

I was wondering what kind of Blu Ray player I would need to buy to better the picture quality from my PS3 and also the CD replay abilities of my Marantz and the DVD performance of the Marantz.

The only issue is that it needs to have analogue outs as my processor (Audiolab 8000AV) doesn't have HDMI.

It may be that the cheaper option is to buy a new HD processor but I wanted to know what my options should be.

Three players I would consider are the Sony BDPS5000es, Marantz BD8002 and the Pioneer BDP-LX91. The Marantz is just about to go off line and be replaced with the more expensive UD8004. Picture and sound wise they are all excellent. The Marantz and the Sony probably present the best value for money.

I might add that the much-cheaper Pioneer BDP-LX71 via analogue out-puts is also a fine CD Player. I owned one before my current Sony BDP-S5000ES and to my ears, there's not much performance difference for CD play-back via analogue out-puts between them.

Just a side-point, can TheHomeCinemaCentre or someone in the know please kindly let me know:

With the Sony BDP-S5000ES, what really annoys me is that while playing CD's, without my TV switched on, I cannot manually select a song track. For example, when I press "Play", it naturally starts playing track 1. Say, if I want to play track 6, I have to press - on my remote control - next track 5 times before I get track 6. I can't seem to find a way to press track 6 on the remote. Hope that this makes sense.

Is there any way around this?

With my previous Pioneer BDP-LX71, playing CD's was much more convenient.

Dan.
