All on BT Vision on demand...

Recently watched the first two series of 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' Which seems to be a little known (in the U.K anyway) comedy series. It's very funny, especially series 1. The content would mean it'd be shown quite late on terrestrial TV, but that never harmed 'Arrested Development'.

Then, Series three of 'Entourage', and it made me remember how good this show is. Having lost track of it on terrestrial TV ages ago. Makes me wish the Vision box had series one and two too, so I could fill the gaps in my knowledge.

Now on series one of 'Human Target'. Hokey spy action/drama stuff, but enjoyable with it.

Watching 'The Unusuals'. A superior cop drama with comedic elements. It was cancelled by the network after the first 10 show season..... A shame as they're more than happy to churn out season after season of dross.:~

Since the OH has insisted she will be "taking a snooze" and said I could choose anything, I have selected Blade Runner, which is arguably still my all-time favourite. Such a ground-breaking film and enduring visual feast for all the modern tech we have in the 21st century. A pleasure every time.

Maybe I ought to go mad and splash out on a sound bar - the full package remains an exercise in economic futility. Through the stereo it sounds good, but only that. Even so, I would probably have to watch alone to get the full benefit.

Yes, it is the BD version (I did purchase the full DVD set in the tin when Clare led me into temptation with a Play.com sale) and it holds the attention splendidly regardless of the times I have watched.

A classic that never ceases to please.

Just been trying out the new AC/DC blu ray, picture is excellent and the sound is excellent. One problem though when watching it, they like too show two or even "three" images on one picture, this drives you nuts after a while. So another music blu ray that is not perfect, it is such a shame too as the concert is great, and the picutre and sound is excellent.

So in all not really happy.

Note - i hope the cover image is above, as it is meant to be. Big Smile

Had an excellent day watching the cricket England Lions V Sri Lanka at Derby. England 394-4 with centuries for Morgan and Patel. Taylor made 76. Back again tomorrow, hopefully Onions, Finn and Shazhad bowling at Dilshan, Sangakarra and Jayawardena. Roll on.

Just watched "Kick Ass". bought as part of a 2 for £18 deal (from Amazon i think) ages ago , but only just decided to watch it

"Absolutely Brillient".

Did find some of "Hit Girl`s" language a bit disconcerting, but only because one of my daughters is that age.
