Even if you're not a huge fan of Early Music, have a listen to one of Jordi Savall/Hespèrion XX's recordings, just to hear what your hifi is really capable of - the detail, depth of bass, treble's sweet clarity and the 3D-like imaging is so life-like it's spooky. (Alas, the above 2-CD set has shot up in price at Amazon, since May 29, from £13.99 to £21.26.

Although Amazon does have other Savall SACD hybrids for c. £8.)

I bought this album a while ago without knowing much about him but of all my cd's this one's getting played the most at the moment and it really is a belter. All dance music fans should definitely have this. Shame about the follow up album 🙁
