I've been listening to Beethoven's Piano Sonatas a lot lately particularly Emil Gilels Deutsche Grammophon recordings on CD. I'm an admirer of this pianist's Beethoven recordings in particular.
In addition, Mozart's Piano Sonatas. I bought Klara Wurtz's complete set, she's very good. Then when Alicia de Larrocha's set arrived and I began to listen to her, I was mighty pleased, over and above Klara Wurtz's recordings.
For me, de Larrocha's Mozart Piano Sonata recordings are wonderful listening.

A belated response, but thanks for sharing this. I saw The Black Keys at The Astoria back in 2008 and haven't listened to any of their albums since El Camino.

I've got all of these huge gaps in my favourite bands' musical history because parenthood sort of got in the way, but the kids are now old enough that I can politely leave them to their thing and make up for lost time.
