What are these speakers?

Hi all,

Had these speakers forever, they are Acoustic Research, but I can't seem to find what model they are, would anyone know?

I think Sooty has been at the tweeters with his magic wand, ha ha.. Look at the foam around the bass.. Be glad to get them operational again,

I used to be a big fan of AR, because my first ever hi-fi speakers were AR4xa's at a time when the smaller bookshelf AR7's were in vogue. Always preferred to them to the British designs of the day like Wharefedale and Celestion.

Lusted after AR3a's, and the bigger LSTs which had an angled front, but not like that in your picture - is that a 45 degree leaning back? Might yours have been from a corner surround-sound type set-up?
