What Amp and Speakers for Linn Sneaky DS?

hi, i am currently using my Sneaky DS with a Lehmann Audio Black Headphone Amp and Grado RS1i Headphones and whilst i am absolutely loving the sound i do fancy maybe adding an amp and louspeakers one day to my set up. My budget is £1000 max, i already have some good quality Partington Speaker Stands and an Atlas Superiour interconnect cable and an equipment rack. I am thinking the Roksan Kandy K2 amp would be a good match? with maybe Bowers and Wilkins 685 Loudspeakers? what do you guy's think?

Well if your budget was not £1000 max I would recommend these. However, as it is a £1000 then it seems like a good pairing. Can you demo them??

This is an unusual one. I think you have a bit of a dilemma here - do you want to try to emulate the quality of your headphone setup in loudspeaker form, or do you just want to be able to hear it out loud every once in a while? If the former, bearing in mind you have about the best pair of headphones available, I think you'll be hard pushed to do it for less than about three grand. if the latter, and you're preapred to accept from the off that you're not going to hit those heights, I'd be inclined to go the complete opposite direction and just add a pair of £200-£400 to the Sneaky and use its own inbuilt amps.

thanks for the advice. i basically just want to add a different dimension to my listening experience, i think the matching speakers you get with the Sneaky will do me fine. i realise trying to emulate the sound from my Grado's will cost me more than i'm willing to pay!
