What about the Sony STR DN1000

Hi,

I've found the Sony STR DN1000 available in many online shops.

However, I cannot find any reviews to know if it is any good. You're not short on Sony products reviews so is there a specific reason why you never mention the STR DN1000 anywhere?

Its look is a lot better that its Sony siblings so can you let me know if it delivers good performance too?

AFAIK it's simply that Sony hasn't provided a sample for review

It looks quite like a Pioneer AV Receiver infact, and yes, much better looking than the current Sony AV stable.

In your experience, what does it means when no sample is provided for review?

One would assume that this is because they fear bad reviews due to poor product.
