To go with Cyrus MR3 & 2 matching Monoblocks.

I am very interested in the Wharf's....has anyone had any good or bad experiences to share?
Thanks

Hi Kjelly

I''ve got the Diamond 10.7 and I can really say they have a stunning built.Sonically speaking they rock quite well. It seems that the whole Diamond range is quite attractive. There are plenty of tests in What Hi-FI, TechRadar etc to go through and get an idea about the capabilites of the individual models.

They are being built in China and designed in UK which is a good thina as Warfedale in capable of producing good products at reasonable prices.

Hi ...
Yes, I have always been impressed with the build quality of wharf's and that they only seem to release a product when they are sure its good. Obviously the review for the 10.1 sets a great benchmark for the rest of that series, but that doesnt always mean the whole range is good - as I am sure you know.

Good to hear that the 10.7 at the other end of the range impresses.
Any suggestions for other floorstanders in the sub 400GBP area?
I have been looking back at my WHiFis for the last year and there seems to have been minimal activity in the market for that category ....

It depends on what sort of sound you're after - the Wharfedales will be quite a fuller, heavier sort of sound, the KEF's will be lighter and leaner. Do you prefer bass quantity or detail?

Haven't heard those speakers so can't comment. But I'd recommend adding the following to your audition list:

KEF IQ5 SE (Brand New) £399.95

Rega RS3 (Ex Dem) £479.00
