hi,thanks for answering. its a small lounge room 3.5m by 3.5m. currently have an old cyrus one amplifier still need to buy a cd player. main music i listen to is rock, folk and blues. What's the rest of your system, the characteristics of your room and what music do you listen to?
My room is a similar size when the folding doors between it and the main living room are closed. One of the biggest things is to avoid overloading it with bass, especially if it has hard floors (as mine does). I agree with @abacus though; the best thing you can do is do some listening.hi,thanks for answering. its a small lounge room 3.5m by 3.5m. currently have an old cyrus one amplifier still need to buy a cd player. main music i listen to is rock, folk and blues.
I’m curious where in the world you are. Here in GB the Dentons are two or three times the cost of the Diamonds.or would the Wharfedale Denton 85th anniversary ?
Agree with that, I did wonder why Dentons made an appearance looking at his initial post.I’m curious where in the world you are. Here in GB the Dentons are two or three times the cost of the Diamonds.
Ironically, the smaller 12.1 Diamond is the model that finds the most favour generally, and even the designer admitted in an interview it was his favourite.
I’m not personally a fan of Triangle, as the ones I’ve heard seem to be a love or hate design, which suggests something inconsistent - or worse, a deliberately ‘different’ design to attract attention. In my book that means I’d soon tire of them.
As others have said, seeing and hearing a few possibilities is essential, as otherwise it’s like asking us what colour to paint your bedroom!
