I got one last week, as my Lacie Lacinema classic HD 2tb died on me... But the WD TV Live was a bit of disapointment regarding picture quality and softwear...

Lacie picture quality was unbelievable!

tbh I have only used the wdtv for flac and from my camera, 720video & photos. The software seems to work seamlessly. The latest version has improvements from earlier versions I understand.

Ok! I only use the WD for video and all are MKV 720p. Or 1080p, for example: each movie is stored in a folder with a pic of the cover, the Lacie displayed the items with the pic, the WD doen't do the same thing!

And with my CD rips the same the Lacie displayed with the pic cover.

Are these "litle" things that i'm refering to...

Cd rips I can help with. I download the cover art and store it as cover.jpg (or is it folder.jpg) ???? Must check. Cant help with video but I will investigate ....
P59 it is folder.jpg for music or video.jpg for video

For audio is folder.jpg yes, but for video will try out myself, but only next week, i'm on holidays now. ;)

But did bring along the external HD and the WD TV Live for the kids.
