yes quite expensive but you can get some money back by selling the 1080p discs on ebay. even if its £5-10 per disc on new releases it helps the cost

Ironically, that would add the cost of losing money on the new 1080p discs. Obviously, will have to be sensible to restrict 4K blu rays to only selected good titles.

4K BD will need some time to mature. The same was true of 1080p BD.

I'm struggling to identify titles I'd be interested in buying; maybe Fury Road and Sicario, at a push, but that's it.

I can't imagine jumping on board until a good selection of catalogue titles receive full 4K restorations.

Obviously, will have to be sensible to restrict 4K blu rays to only selected good titles.

Not something seemingly troubling the studios, judging from the initial release announcements. Hardly compelling, are they?
