Want to improve ca a5 amp

At the moment Im using a cambridge a5 amp with wharfedale 9.1's and an old technics sl pg 390 , but im now thiking of changing the amp cambridge 540a or a cyrus 1 or 2 any ideas what would be best?

It might help explaining the type of music you listen to and size of room etc. 🙂

The room is 11x15ft and the music is varied from rock to classical via indie wuith occasional dance so something versatile is needed. actually its probably more rock/ indie at the moment
