Wall mount speaker recommendations?

Hi,

I am due to become a father in January - one of the key issues with my current hifi setup is that the speakers are not very child friendly and are going to become prime targets for sticky fingers etc. Therefore I would like to investigate if there are any good speakers that can be effectively wall mounted and still retain "real" hifi credentials?

Budget would be up to £1500 or so, any thoughts really appreciated.

Spendor do excellent wall mounted speakers. I bought a pair end-of-line as rear speakers and the sound is great. If you love bass you might consider adding a sub as there range doesn't go that loow.

pmc db1i's can be wall mounted, they are small ish and pack a serious punch.

DB1s are a good option specifically because they have bolt sockets in the back of them already for their dedicated brackets, rather than you haveing to wrestle with rubbish wall brackets from B&Q, or drilling into a nice speaker.

Oh, and they sound rather good...
