I downloaded the Vox music player for mac and played some 24/96kHz .wav files (using the USB out from the macbook to the USB on the amp).
Playing the same files (with the same connection) using the mac's Music app. results in a better overall sound. Quicktime player sounds different than using the Music app. but still better than the Vox player. How can that be?
Does the Vox music player sound better if you create an account and sign in? They don't respond to support requests.
