There's only a 7% swing required to have HD come out on top, which given the ubiquity of CD and the newness of HD music isn't a bad result at all really.

With 50,000ish members on this forum, I am genuinely surprised by how few votes you've had so far JD.

I'd just call it a day and accept that the winner is the CD (err, just). TTFN dear boy.

I don't think audiophiles need an excuse for re-launching outdated technology...

There's already quite a few web sites for people who claims that 78 rpm shellac is superior to modern hi-fi ('more musical', 'greater dynamics').

Still it seems like compact cassettes is the latest trend in retro hi-fi, stealing the avant garde away from vinyl.
