Verifying 100hz Motionflow is working on my Sony KDL32W5500

I bought a KDL32W5500 in May and suspect the 100hz Motionflow is not working. If
I set it to high, standard or off whilst watching Wimbledon or any sports event,
I notice no difference in motion blur at all. Is there a simple test I can make
to ascertain if it is working or not? I've tried recording the end credits roll on a few TV programmes but again it's the same regardless of the setting I have it on.

I'm very pleased with the TV but would like some kind of 'pointer' that motionflow is working.

Any ideas anyone?

thanks

Try watching the ticker on BBC News or Sky Sports News and see if you notice any difference on those.

Tried the ticker test on the news channels. No difference whatsover! Thanks for that one though. Would any fast moving scene moving left to right suffice for the test?

Ok, I've got one more and the best example I can come up with as it's the one I use.

Watch the number plate of a vehicle as it moves from one side of the screen to the other at a decent speed. Get a recording of such an example and use the same piece of recording for the comparison.

You'll then have your answer.

I have the 37" version and there does not appear to be a great difference between the off/standard/high settings. I think it helps a little with fast moving sports/films, but then again I might be imagining it. I think that in general the tv is very adept at dealing with motion blur anyway.

The best way to see 100hz working, is to put a movie on the high setting, and it will make the film look like it's been shot on a camcorder.

Thanks Sapien. Can anyone recommend a scene from a popular movie which I could try and the see the difference? I'm starting to think I may as well have bought the model without the 100hz motionflow (the kdl32V5500 model)
