VCR with HDMI output

I am looking for a VCR with HDMI output. I know of a few models that upscale VHS footage and output as HDMI, however I don't know of any that were available in the UK other than combi units. Does anyone know of just a standalone VCR with this feature that was available in the UK?

Hmmm, I don't think there would be a standalone VCR with a HDMI output. Why would you want one?? Or do you think it would upscale???

From what I can see of the combi units, its the DVD part that benfits from the upscaling and HDMI connectivity. So this would only be utilised once the VHS was copied over to DVD.

well the following has HDMI output: JVC HM-DT100U but it seems to have only been released in the USA. Anyone know if it had a european equivalent model?
