No, not usually (if at all). Having two pairs of speaker terminals just means that two pairs of speakers can be driven from the one set of amplifier circuits. To bi-amp, you need two sets of amplifier circuits - hence why you can bi-amp, say, if you have an integrated amp, and are using pre-outs into a power amp - like an Arcam A85+P85.

ok cool......but will it be ok to use both sets of speaker terminals to connect to the speakers. I guess it would be biwiring them, right?
Going to try my old Pioneer A-605R (RRP £300, 5 star product 1992-4ish) with the Kef Q500's over the weekend, and compare it to my Denon AVR2310 for stereo playback.....but want to hear the Pioneer 'at it's best', as I currently bi amp with the Denon.....
