I am using my new Samsung Q990F as a HiFi setup now, have you ever done the same? I think it sounds better than the KEF LS50 Wireless setup and B&W Formation Duo Speakers.

Hi, I think Samsung Q990F soundbar is multichannel system optimized for a home cinema experience. And there it is good for sure. But for a 2 channel Hifi system Kef LS 50 WL will be prefered by me. I used to have both home cinema (full size Cabasse system) and 2 Channel HiFi. After some time and improvements in 2 Ch, I realized I do not need Home Cinema. So it was gone. And I like my 2 Ch Set up. And wife has more flowers and trees in our living room. So it is winn winn. 😉

I see what you mean. 👍

I would only use my various soundbars for casual listening. Anthing more than that and I'll use the stereo system.

Would I go to stereo system for home cinema? Not right now as I've installed home cinema surrounds / sub etc, but as I've posted on a different thread, if I could get a 3.1 system, definitely. Reason being is that as a man of "advancing years" I need very good dialogue for cinema and consider the centre channel important. One man's view.

I have cut my 5.1 setup down to 3.1 before and it does still sound good.
