Us radio frequency vs Asia frequency

I want to ask regarding us radio frequency :

My radio (denon dm39) frequency only have

98.1 98.3 98.5 and did not have 98.2 98.4 98.6 and others.

Is this normal in us?

Can firmware update solve this?

Note : I bring us denon dm39 to Asia

Yes I think US radio steps by different amounts to other areas (it's certainly different to that used in the UK, I don't know about Asia).

My iPod Nano (7th gen) has got a radio with region options. I just realized that I never switched back the region to Europe after a trip to the US in the summer. Never had a problem with tuning to the Dutch station I usually listen to on my iPod at 98.9 Mhz.

I have no idea if having different tuning steps will cause problems in Asia with an American model. Apparently some people have experienced problems when trying to use a US tuner in India because of the different spacing of the steps.

If I update the firmware using Asian Firmware, does this solve the problems ?

I can not update the firmware.
I try to change the Tuner, but also same. so the setting is on the firmware.

I hope there is solutions for this. Thank you
