Upgrade SUbwoofer in Q Acoustics 5.1

I have a Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1 http://whathifi.com/Review/Q-Acoustics-1010i-51/package and I am very very happy with the sound! http://whathifi.com/Review/Q-Acoustics-1010i-51/


However, I do ask for a bit more from the Subwoofer when it comes to stereo sound, especially in music.

So, is there any point changing the subwoofer for something better, and if so, what shall I get???

I don't want to spend a fortune, I am not on a supertight budget but I won't spend £700 on a sub!

Any tips are welcome!

I assume you are using a decent sub cable from receiver to sub before deciding to spend a lot more money on a sub?

I replaced my QED Qunex P-SW for a QED Signature recently and the improvements were very satisifing indeed......

Just a thought....
