Hi

What would an appropriate upgrade be for Musical Fidelity A3.2 Cd, Pre,Power + Proac Studio 140 - I have £500
Is the above system still good as high end stuff today ?
Any help appreciated

Thanks

I'd say so. I think to get an improvement for five hundred quid you should try a DAC and lossless files from your PC or Mac instead - I can't think of any other way of making your system better without doubling your budget..........

Assuming you have decent cabling, I would probably leave it as is! Perhaps look at a decent rack if it suits, or even a mains block, but the latter is a subjective upgrade. Just my thoughts as I think the kit is great.

Definitely,

I think you can consider your kit as good (or even better) as the high end stuff of today as you say. You already own cracking good machines. Your amp has a dual mono design and inherits it's circuitry directly from the Nuvista MF amplier. You need a lot of money today to buy an amp having such

As Igglebert has already spoted, with your budget I'd just think about cables and mains filter (if anything needed)..., or I would just save my money for some other thing...
