Hello;

I am currently a happy user of naim cd5i - nait5i (both new models) - neat motive 2 combo.

I would like to upgrade my setup to Copland CTA 405 + CDA 823 combo plus new set of speakers adding a turntable also.

I am plannig first to upgrage the amp and get a decent turntable and then the rest when i find money.

As i am from Turkey i dont heve the change to audition every brand or find them, but Coplands are available here and the price is similiar th Briths one ( usually they are +%50 more!!!).

I listen %60 Classic %15 Jazz %15 rock. 20 squaremeter room just for music listening 🙂

1. Is it worht to upgrade my current system? Will make a difference that i pay the double of NAIMs?

2 Is it worth to get CTA 405 and use it with my current NAIM CD and Neats, change them piece by piece?

3.Which turntable shoul i go for? What price range to get a balanced system?

4. Is the CTA 405 phono stage good enough? Should i plan to buy one also..

5. Any comment about Cabasse brand? Which Cabasee will match Coplands? Or witch Proac or ATC? they are good price here also...

I know lots of silly questions but if anyone could help me i will be very glad

manys tnx in advance

Emre
