upgrade help needed on the cheap!

hi,

i'm looking to get the best out of my system and also get some av funtionality.

i currently am running a mission pcm ii, using a van den hul mcd 300 mk 3 interconects to a rotel rc870bx pre amp, connect up with vanden hul d102 m3 to two monoblocked rb870bx power amps which i intend now to use biamped, a pair of mission 753s originals.i'm using qed xt 400 speaker cable two lengths to bi wire of course.

i'm planning on trying to pre the rotels with an arcam xeta one av amp to try and as i said get some av capability into my system as ive just bought a toshiba xv555db 37inch widescreen.

my worry is that i will lose weight and bass depth from my system.

i tried a yamaha 5.2 av pre before and just made the system sound awful, lost all the weight all the depthand was quiet and bland, need i say more.

any suggestions or help greatfully recieved

Jamesym, hate to see a post with no replies, especially from a new member, but you will get more responses if you were to post it in Home Cinema. 'Your system' is for us to gawp and comment on the looks of each others setup or watch people build speakers or home cinema rooms!
