Updgrade AV Receiver options with Bose speakers

Hi I'm looking to ugrade my AV amp/reciver. I have Bose Acoustimass 15 sub and speakers, and have just bought a Sony 1065 DVD/HDD player which is fantastic. I am currently running a 5 yr old Denon 700 all in one and would like to upgrade that. There are some great end of line deals on Arcam Diva 250/300 range around or would I be better looking at newer kit e.g. Denon 2307 or Sony 5200. I don't need lots of bells and whistles.

No bells and whistles? In that case I suggest the Sony STR-DA1200ES or the Onkyo TX-SR505, at about £300 and £250 respectively.
