Earlier they played live in the "Live Lounge" and that performance is or will be shortly available to watch on the "Red Button" thingy via Freeview.

Currently on Radio 2 with the clown Evans.

It's just wrong somehow, isn't it?

U2, the band that takes on the world's easy political targets wrongs and makes a lot of fuss about rights them, cosying up to Radio 2...

U2 are currently (as in RIGHT bl***y NOW) playing from top of the Broadcasting Hse in London. Broadcast live on Freeview channel 301.

I just wish I could be there...

Also wish I had a component cable at hand to connect to the hi-fi.

And we all know what happened when The Beatles played on a rooftop in Central London...

We live in hope, eh...?

(And I'm not sure a component cable connected to the hi-fi would do you much good...)

I can "hear" the sound from the wii. Why can't a regular (w/o the Nintendo connector at the other end) allow me to listen "hi-fi" to the sound off the tv?

You need a straight stereo interconnect pair cable from the audio out on the back of the TV to a spare line input on the 840A

So obvious...

It works. Great.

Thanks!

Oh gawd, Mr Bono's just thanked the Metropolitan Police for organising all this - 'we owe you one' - and the BBC - 'what a great broadcasting corporation you have'

Mind you, he did finish Vertigo with a couple of line of The Fab Four's She Loves You, but then he's already said 'We're not going anywhere soon'. Oh well...

'You love this town - Regent Street!' Now he's throwing 'BBC' and 'Regent Street' into every other line of Beautiful Day. 'BBC! Beautiful!'

And to think they diverted the bendy buses for this...

I think a whole evening listening to bono's bull**** all night is the problem and not so much U2 as they still know how to rock.

Bono is an endoscope who regularly disappears up his own **** - discuss.

Maximum words = 1 ,Max letters = 3

This is why he has two bottoms, because he is so far up one of them he needs the other for his digestive transit. I cant believe i managed this post without using a word that could be deemed offensive.

There's nothing like ramming the point home to put you off something is there? This U2 blitzkreig is really banging a nail in the coffin for me personally.

'War' through 'Achtung Baby' - loved 'em, bought the albums, bought the bootlegs, saw the gigs, but, something went astray and I can't be bothered anymore.

May i be as bold as to say best album since Achtung baby, anyone agree?

'You love this town - Regent Street!' Pah!

I picked up on these as well... Not very rock'n roll, now is it?... I think he just stopped short of thanking Boris Johnson in his momentum.

Anyway, despite a not very great performance, I still can 't wait to watch the other performance they recorded earlier. I'll give'em one more chance to try to convince me that they still mean it...

Its a shame really as, on the culture show the other day, he demonstrated that he is a real person and not a slogan chanting cartoon.

The singer from green day does the same.

"come on england"!

ok. where are we goin'?

"MILTON KEYNES!!!".

Now, stop it Mr Armstrong. it is impossible to appear remotely "punk"/"cool"/whatever while saying those words.

I'll need some more listens before I can agree on that. However there are some great songs on there, Breathe is a Killer tune.

All this 'anti-bono' sentiment in the UK doesn't bother me... in fact it might make getting hold on concert tickets eaiser!

jules.
