TV with iPlayer

Hi

I saw a post on the forum about buying a new tv so I thought I would post something similar !

I have never had a flat screen tv of any kind and I need to buy a new tv soon. Ideally I am looking for one that comes with the BBC iPlayer. I know that some Sonys come with it but do any other ones ? I know that the Panasonics have been getting a good press on the forum but do these have it ? I have £500-£600 to spend.

Many of the latest so-called 'smart TVs' have access to BBC iPlayer, usually via a built-in app, including some LG, Panasonic, Philips and Sony models. Samsung's 2012 TVs don't yet have it, but we're told it's on the way. Check out our latest TV reviews to find out more.

yeah the panasonics have them as well as sony, what will you be using the tv for (movies or just general tv)? what size?

I suppose I will be using them for general tv with some film use. Prob around 40".
