TV upscaler or Bluray upscaler

Hello

what would be the better upscaler out of the 2 for films for DVD and Bluray

TV is a Pana 42PZ85

Bluray player is Sony 550

I cant really decided for myself, so would really appreciate any feed back

Probably the Blu-Ray player, but if you can't tell the difference it doesn't really matter

Also, don't forget Blu-Rays don't need upscaling, only DVDs.

By setting the video setting to Auto on the player, the TV is doing the upscaler?

Hi Garth Man, I have the s350 and according to the manual selecting auto " The player outputs signals starting with the highest resolution acceptable to the TV". This would mean that the player is doing the upscaling.

Yup sure do. Actually never tried it with the TV doing the upscaling.
