TV recommendations please.

My spec for a new TV is

46/48 " Screen.

Panasonic or Philips

Smart including Spotify, iPlayer and Netflix

very Eco friendly

optical out

beautiful

Any suggestions welcome.

Why only Panasonic or Philips? You are aware that Philips has stopped manufacturing TVs, right? A Chinese company pays royalty to Philips to use its name on their TVs.

I haven't seen a really good review of a Philips tv for some time, so if I was you, I'd leave them well alone.

You've got Panasonic, Sony, Samsung and LG, that all make decent tvs, so I would definitely consider all of those makes too.

As BB said, what's your budget?
