Finally got around to having the TV properly wall mounted, adding extra sockets for each bit of kit, cables under the carpet/in the wall etc. Mrs H is happy as there's not a cable in sight!

It is indeed, good spot.

The TV is on a cantilever bracket so we can extend and angle it if need be

46"

I could never have done it this well, so we got someone in to do it. He put the rears up on the wall too and hid all the cabling.

It looks bigger to me - and it matches perfectly with the rest of the kit ..... He`s done a very good job , for sure.Great looking spot by all means...I`ve hidden my cabling too , but by using a piece of hardboard ( after sanding and painting it ) ... It doesn`t look nowhere near as good , but still better than cables hanging on the wall 🙂

is it the camera angle or is your t.v wonky?

very nice tidy set-up..

That's a good finish, how did the guy run the cables and hide it so well? Did they replaster the whole wall or drill holes at the studs and patch up afterwards?

i need to run some cables and wondering what is the best and cheapest way to do it myself.

After 2 1/2 yrs hes probably moved house.

Replaster/wallpaper paint is best but I did my bedroom tv by making big hole.behind screen and feeding cable below cabinet. I found a pipe bending tool fine to break into the eggbox constructed wall. Depends (ofcourse) on construction

Pipe bending tool? I'll do a bit of you tubing tonight...... :O)

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of socket do the cables come in and out of behind theTV? Are you able to easily run new cables to the TV?
