Hi All

I currently have a Samsung LE40A856 that is full HD.

Its great when viewing Blu Ray movies through my Samsung Blu Ray player but when watching TV the quality is not the same. When watching football there is sometime a drag like experience. The TV feed I have is a NTL/Chorus digital box.

Is this beacuse the TV is full HD, would I have been better off with an HD ready TV.

Im thinking about buying a Pioneer 50" plasma but using the same TV feed would I have the same issues ?

Any advise would be appeciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like motion blur. Turn off any picture enhancements you mave have on. How is the box connected to the tv? could be worth trying componant if it has that, if not try removing the scart lead and cleaning the contacts, possibly even invest in a new lead.

Sounds like you have the typical LCD motion blur. Is there a 100Hz Motion option or something like that, experiment with the settings if there is. Cleaning the SCARTs is unlikely to help. Getting a plasma could. You mention the Pioneer, that's a good choice.
