I am not surprised if people can afford HiFi on the level of Naim Statement or D'Agostino amps or even go to Jay's Audio Lab on Youtube (he buys and auditions systems for at least $60,000 worth) then £12,700 for 1metre cable is just a natural and logical addition.....

Air, at least if dry, is an excellent electrical insulator but, it offers no obstruction to electromagnetism or electromagnetic radiation. I refer you to post #9 in this thread.

All joking aside, I might need to upgrade my hangers. That is seriously high quality, at least 3 times thicker than any of mine - with a plastic cap to prevent scratching.
(One like that probably costs more than my cables).

To me either version would fit the analogy.
