Trouble connecting SKY to a Dell Monitor. Help needed, please!

I've got a Sky set top box, not the HD or + version, just a normal sky box with a Scart out feed. I'd like to connect this feed into a Dell 22" monitor not a TV. The monitor only has DVI or VGA inputs. What do I need to buy, please, to convert my scart to VGA?

Has anyone managed to do this?

An RGB to VGA converter would seem to offer the answer. It's going to cost you about £80 or so, and I haven't been impressed with the few I've tried to date.
