Strange answer spot

You originally attack me asking for some form of measureable evidence (well, at least in a round about way you were "Mate, seriously, the audible benefits are questionable in any case, but credibility you know? That's all I'm saying...!")

When I give some you say your not interested?

If I didnt know any better id say your main goal is simply to attack me where possible..............(Seems to be a common agenda on this site.........)

Oh dear, the paranoia police are in town. Please...

I see it's alright to peddle your POV, but I put up a light-hearted comment on your post and suddenly it's a threat...obviously. If you think that's what passes off as an attack on an internet forum, you've led a charmed life (my phrase of the month I think...). And on the wider scale, you're far from attacked on here, though God knows, if you want an easy ride, go sit on the Hoffman forum, there's any number who'll buy your line of reasoning without question on the Hardware sub-forum.

You made a statement around having measureable evidence on a physical change, fine, all I'm saying - as ever - is the audible benefits might well be so small as to be negligible to our hearing. Might not even have any impact at all, or it might be somewhere between the two. In the end, it proves what? That there's a physical change in the properties of a bit of wire and the resulting audio impacts are...subjective (and generous) at best.

Hence my scepticism - not a personal attack, just what could be taking 2+2 and passing it off as credible - not expecting a peer review here, just I haven't seen or heard anything that says or suggests a direct link.

If anyones too brash on here they get banned (Im sure your well aware of that, as are all the forum regulars)

If anyone posts links (I used to post many) the 'forum police' get upset so ive all but given up with them too

And I said attack as youve had a few goes at me recently on various threads

Trust me though, Its water off a ducks back with me. But when im actually allowed to defend myself without fear of being banned, I do so VERY well

"Trapped voltages" how does that work then? I've heard the term used in the context of high voltage power systems (read 50KV and upwards) but speaker cables whats that all about? Not an area of expertise for me I'm only a simple avionics engineer.

Have to admit I'm with RS. bi-wiring from my experience generally only benefits one group of people. The manufacturers and sellers of cable.

But as he says if you like what it does/can hear a difference fill your boots.

I'm not exactly wanting on that score either, but it seems it's alright to post a view but not thereafter to have it challenged. I don't follow, subscribe or agree with that perspective. And this applies to anything I post as well as you or anyone else. Why would I have it any other way? I'd be falling into the same bracket that yours appears to!

As you've posted a few views of late that deserve to be challenged - such as the harping up of the Van Damme hyper fab cables and when an alternative (such as good quality 322 strand cable that I mentioned) you promptly went down the "I bet mine's better than yours" route, which wasn't the point of mentioning it, but you STILL tried to drive your point in, over and over again - and those views are different to mine, are you saying I should limit them to one a week? (Joke) Why shouldn't one post contrary views? I mean God knows, you'll go down a measureable route in noting a physical difference with cable reactions, but promptly tie this in with iffy audible benefits (or IIRC, no comment on any benefit, which leaves the latter promptly open to question in any case!).

So if you can't accept having several posts challenged, or even simply countering your take, then you've led a charmed life on web forums.

Challenge me all you like

I'll repeat ~ 'water off a ducks back'

Seeming as one particular person has seemingly banned me from mentioning those cables theres not much I can comment on it (or in fact do about it either...........until such time..........oh, that will be a happy day

). I said what I said compared to your 322 strand (if thats what it was) as I heard definite differences between my studio blue and the LC

As for your last comment. mate ~ this forum is the most laid back forum ive ever been on. Arguments never get anywhere as theyre instantly banned (or take a weeks break or whatever)

Ive had FAR more than my fair share of online banter. It just bores me now though..............

Not at all, Rick, most of us enjoy your contributions even if we don't agree with them. Take me, I don't often agree with you but I'd defend you to the hilt. You may be controversial but you always present a strong case and the forum is better off for it.2nd that Tar, Riks one of my favourite posters on here, i only wander if he really is an alien though as hes never shown himself, ha Idc had recently shown himself, he also is another fav poster of mine (both mains cable fans like i) so if your reading this Rik mate? put us all out of our misery? Are you Alien or human? ha

Or are you Mr Es alter ego lol

Yes, very...very bored indeed. So bored that I spent the day offline and doing stuff on the Fringe. Just saw my third show of the weekend and had a fine old time. Storm Large on Friday, The Gospel at Colonus last night and Arj Barker this evening. Another one to see tomorrow night too. And as for all this stuff on here, bored, bored, very bored indeed, not least when it becomes tiresome that someone doesn't appear to understand, wilfully or otherwise, the difference between having a view challenged and being challenged to the point of almost taking it personally...like I said earlier; the paranoia police must be in town this weekend!

Which bit of 'please do not discuss moderation' don't you understand, aliEnRIK? This is absolutely your final warning, and please stop derailing threads to discuss your ridiculous paranoia...
