HD-EP35 - HD DVD Player

Do you use a HDMI cable for the Projector and an optical cable for the AV receiver to get the latest Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio?

Or why don't they have two HDMI out-puts?

I don't think you'll get HD audio from an optical cable, only through HDMI.

From the HD-XE1 user manual:

"For Dolby© Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD
multi-channel audio playback:
A/V Receiver with HDMIT multi-channel LPCM
capable audio input and 5.1 channel speaker
setup."
