Toshiba EP-30 HD DVD Player for Upscaling Job

I've seen excellent offers for Toshiba EP-30 HD player 59 pounds with 5 HD Disks, how does it do upscaling I want to buy it for only upscaling my standard dvd's over 500 of them. Is it a better upscaler then Denon DVD-1940 or PS3.? I can't recall if it was tested in pure upscaling job with any of the mention players. If it was can you share this in online forum otherwise please let me know the issue number?

I intend to partner this with Samsung LE46F86.

If not WHFSV editors but anyone else has tested this with PS3 or Denon 1940 is it a better upscaling player for 60 pounds?

I've seen a few other comments from people in other sections of the forum saying it's better than the PS3, but I haven't actually seen it myself to confirm.

Ijust bought the earlier hd e1 and it is superb with HD and upscales of normal dvd are brilliant!

Thankyou both for sharing your comments, I bought the Tosh for upscaling as stop gap for a year or two till blu-ray prices comedown both players and dvds.
