The problem occured when the AUX was pulled out while music was playing, it will only play on one speaker now and I've swapped L and R and then the other speaker plays only mono, I've checked my computer if it was set to mono but is set to stereo and when I play the test sound both L and R is played on one of the speakers. (Whichever is connected to R on the amp) No matter which AUX end (L or R) is connected, it will still play on the same speaker. There is no button to switch between mono and stereo on the amp. Please help.

I realised I pressed the save button twice and thus made two forum posts, please reply to this one.

By the way I am not particularly knowledgeable about amps and don't know what the different parts are called.

Hi ,

Was it pulled out of the PC ? if so have you some headphones you can plug into the PC to check the socket isn't damaged ?

If it's not that try another line input on the amp , any input that isn't labeled as "phono" , do this with the amp turned off . If the problem remains try another cable .

It was pulled out of the amp, I don't know if it's the cable, cause if I pull out either L or R it still plays on the same speaker, do you think it might be the AUX input?

Edit: I also tried the tuner input instead of AUX and it still only plays on one speaker. Maybe it is the cable after all? Could it be the socket going from the amp to the speakers?
