Toshiba 40XF355 - Good Prices?

Noticed that both Curry's and John Lewis (with 5yr guarantee) are doing the Tosh at £999. The price was the only downfall on the recent review in the mag, does anyone think that at this price it any better than the equivalent panles you can get for a £1000?

I too have seen this today at John Lewis and am thinking of buying.I just want to know whether the experts think that this is a better TV than the panasonic 37px70 plasma.I am being told that for football etc the panasonic is the better TV.Is this right?
