Toshiba 40WL768 for less

I want to buy a four star rated Toshiba television, model 40WL768

There's a big pricegap between the Netherlands and Germany!

I can buy it for E800,-- or L800,--

Would the conclusion be different if the Toshiba was tested with this price?

The Toshiba will have been tested and rated against models of similar price and specification; and while the Toshiba may have come down in price, its competitors will have also.

None of that means the Toshiba isn't a good deal and four stars is hardly a bad review. I'd audition the set, if that's still possible, and compare its performance with other similalrly priced televisions.

When testing, have a good look at backlight uniformity and motion processing, since these were the problems noted in the review.
