topping vx1 + wharfedale diamond 210 for desktop speakers?

Can someone critique my options here, I'm thinking:

Topping VX1 + Wharfedale Diamond 210 + ATH M50x (already own)

I'm unsure whether to go for this for approx £200 or Ruark MR1 for £300 (without DAC).
