The follow up film is out later this year. So this is a marketing ploy to get people interested in Top Gun again, leading to a cinema visit. Very clever.

Probably Christmas next year, Cinema release this year, DVD in time for this Christmas, Collection pack next Christmas. Just a guess, we'll see how close I get.
