To What Hi-Fi Team: Any news on Onkyo 876?

Hi there,

I understand that the What Hi-Fi team now has a Onkyo 876 set for review but I have not been able to find any information about this new AV receiver. When can we expect an announcement about the specifications/features of this new AV receiver? Is the Onkyo 906 on the way as well?

BTW, I remember Andrew mentioning that the Onkyo 876 will be tested in an upcoming issue. What about the already announced 806 and 706? Any plans to review those sets? Thanks.

Onkyo has still made no official announcement about replacements for the 875 or 905.

Yes we have an 876, apparently, which I am sure will be reviewed in a forthcoming issue very soon.

Thanks for the update. Do you guys also have the 806 and 706 on hand for review? What about the Denon 2809? It would be great if we can have a group test for amps in that category as most of the tests this year have been in the lower end.
