Hi, I have been looking for a TV to replace a Sony 32" CRT. Decided 40" - 42" is the best move but stuck between a few TV's from different manufacturers. In no particular order: Panasonic PZ4270B - Full HD 1080 screen but one ugly TV> I don't particularly like the speakers down the side of the boz which widens it considerably. Samsung LE40M86BD 40" LCD online from Currys (£855 delivered) - again full HD 1080P but can't get a demo with SC via either built in tuner or freeview/SKY source. Panasonic PX4270B - not Full HD - I already have SKY HD and if I have the opportunity to watch 1080i via SKY without processing, this TV should be ruled out due to downscaling of the signal? Sony KDL40V3000 - can't find this TV around local retailers including Sony Centres (2 around here and neither have it in stock). I also can't find a price locally for this so it may be too much anyway. Can't stretch to 40W3000 (£1799). Any and all advice accepted... Cheers, Cofnchtr.
