Ha! Couldn't agree more! Hi Fi World reviewed the A5VL and partnering CD/SACD player and rated them as four stars and one reviewer (Patrick Cleasby I think) was very impressed with the pairing. Glad you landed what looks like an excellent amp for your needs. I had an eye on the Onkyo A933 for a while some time ago and was very impressed by the specs and build. Never heard it, but imagine it could be good.
