Went to see this today. I'm a bit of an Aronofsky fanboy at heart and I thought it was a great return to form after 'The Fountain'. Not only him of course, it's brilliant to see old Rourkey getting back onto the path he was made to travel on. I do hope he gets his Oscar, the best performance this year.

I loved it too, but would have described it as a departure rather than return, if that makes sense. But then I loved The Fountain! Rourkes performance made the film something special though, No one else could have played that part IMO.
